Abstract

ABSTRACT

The results of observations made in class X-MIPA 2 at SMAN Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang, the schedule of Biology subjects in class X-MIPA 2 in the afternoon and was carried out after Health Physical Education subjects (Physical education). This affects students' motivation to learn. This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models on students' cognitive learning outcomes on Eubacteria material in class X students. The type of research used is quantitative research. The design of this study used the Pre Experimental Design type One Group Pretest-Posttest. The results of the pretest and posttest had increased by 31.33%, with an average pretest score of 50,00 with criteria for the value of E and posttest score for 81.33 with criteria for the value of A.

ABSTRAK

Hasil observasi yang dilakukan di kelas X-MIPA 2 di SMAN Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang, dimana jadwal mata pelajaran Biologi di kelas X-MIPA 2 pada waktu siang hari dan dilaksanakan setelah mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan (Penjaskes). Sehingga mempengaruhi motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi Eubacteria pada siswa kelas X. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Pre Experimental Design tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest. Hasil pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan 31,33%, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 50,00 dengan kriteria nilai E dan nilai posttest 81,33 dengan kriteria nilai A.
