The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of teachers to manage learning, student responses and student learning outcomes with the problem-based learning model with a contextual approach on the material of building flat side space in class VIII. This research is a descriptive research. The research design used is the oneshot case study. The results of data analysis show: (1) the ability of teachers to manage learning as a whole can be categorized very well (2) student response to learning with problem based learning model with a positive contextual approach. Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, respon siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dengan model problem based learning dengan pendekatan kontekstual pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar di kelas VIII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Adapun rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu the oneshot case study. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan: (1) kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran secara keseluruhan dapat dikategorikan sangat baik (2) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning dengan pendekatan kontekstual yaitu positif. (3) nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model problem based learning dengan pendekatan kontekstual tuntas.
