Plagiarism Policy

JUMAT PENDIDIKAN upholds academic integrity and does not tolerate plagiarism, including the use of another person's ideas, data, images, tables, or text without appropriate acknowledgment and citation. Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original works and that all sources used are properly cited.

Prohibited practices include direct plagiarism, unattributed paraphrasing, inappropriate reuse of one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism), duplicate publication, and data fabrication or falsification.

Manuscripts may be screened using text-similarity detection software as part of the initial editorial assessment. Similarity reports will not be used as the sole basis for determining whether plagiarism has occurred. Editors will consider the context of the similarities, the adequacy of citations, the sections identified, and the characteristics of the manuscript.

If plagiarism or a potential breach of academic integrity is suspected, the editor may request clarification from the authors, require revisions, reject the manuscript, or take other editorial action appropriate to the nature and severity of the violation.

If a violation is discovered after publication, the journal may issue a correction, an editorial expression of concern, or a retraction, depending on the findings of the investigation.

Authors are responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and the proper acknowledgment of all sources. Allegations of misconduct will be handled objectively and proportionately, while maintaining the confidentiality of the investigation.
