Pelatihan Literasi Digital bagi Tenaga Kerja Perkebunan untuk Mendukung Transformasi Industri 4.0.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Industry 4.0 era has encouraged various industrial sectors, including the plantation sector, to improve human resource competency in utilizing digital technology. However, the level of digital literacy among plantation workers remains relatively limited, hampering the optimization of technology utilization in administrative and reporting activities. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of workers at PTPN Cisaruni Garut through practice-based training. The methods used include needs identification, training module design, training implementation and hands-on practice, as well as evaluation and mentoring. The activity was evaluated using pre- and post-tests to measure participants' understanding, and practical assessments to assess digital technology usage skills. This activity was attended by 25 participants, who are plantation workers. The evaluation results showed that the average pre-test score of 58.40 increased to 81.75 in the post-test, with an N-gain value of 0.56, which is included in the moderate category. In addition, more than 80% of participants were able to complete the practical tasks in the good category. These results indicate that the digital literacy training implemented was able to improve participants' knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology to support reporting and administrative activities in the plantation work environment.
