Post-Publication Discussion

1. Post-Publication Discussion
The journal Jumat Keagamaan provides an opportunity for readers, authors, academics, practitioners, and the general public to offer responses, critiques, clarifications, and engage in scholarly discussion regarding published articles. Post-publication discussion aims to enhance the quality of publications, strengthen academic transparency, and foster the development of community engagement practices within the religious sphere.

Responses to articles must be objective, constructive, evidence-based, and articulated in a respectful tone. Discussions may encompass aspects such as the methodology of community engagement, program implementation, analysis of results, interpretation of findings, religious relevance, and the implications of the activities for the community and the advancement of knowledge.

The editors will review each submitted response to ensure its scholarly relevance and adherence to publication ethics, while also verifying that it contains no elements of insult, discrimination, or privacy violations. If a response meets these criteria, the journal may publish it as a letter to the editor, a scholarly commentary, or another form of academic communication, in accordance with the journal’s policies.

Authors whose articles receive substantive responses may be given the opportunity to provide a reply or clarification. The entire discussion process must be conducted fairly and transparently, with due respect for the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved.

Should a post-publication discussion reveal indications of substantive errors, ethical breaches, or the unreliability of published findings, the editors will conduct a further investigation and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a correction or retracting the article, if necessary.
