JOURNAL TEMPLATE
Plagiarism Policy
Journal Jumat Keagamaan upholds academic integrity and does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the author(s), prepared responsibly, and include appropriate acknowledgment and citation of any ideas, data, methods, text, images, or other works belonging to third parties.
Every submitted manuscript may be screened using text-similarity detection software or other methods deemed relevant by the editors. This screening is conducted to identify sections that require further evaluation, rather than to automatically determine a violation based solely on a similarity percentage.
Editors will assess the source of the similarity, the accuracy of citations, the use of quotations, the characteristics of the manuscript, and its academic context. Similarities found in bibliographies, common terminology, correctly cited quotations, or standard methodological formats are not automatically classified as plagiarism.
If indications of plagiarism are found, the editors may request clarification from the author, ask for revisions, reject the manuscript, or take other actions commensurate with the severity of the violation. For articles that have already been published, the journal may issue a correction or a retraction, depending on the gravity and impact of the violation.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are correctly cited and that the use of third-party material complies with applicable attribution requirements and licensing permissions. Alleged violations will be handled objectively, confidentially, and fairly, providing the involved parties an opportunity to offer an explanation.
