MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA POKOK BAHASAN VEKTOR UNTUK MENGETAHUI HASIL KOGNITIF SISWA KELAS XI MIPA DI MA BAHRUL ULUM

ABSTRACT
This study aims to complete student learning outcomes. The test subjects were 30 XI MIPA students in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. At the time of the pretest the students had an average value of 35.70 and a percentage of completeness of 23.70%. After the post test was held, the average value was 77.6 and the percentage of completeness was 78.80%. The difference in the value of the pretest and posttest is because at the time of the pretest students answer the questions according to the knowledge they have, even though the material they have tested has never been obtained before. After learning is carried out using the Recovery Learning method and posttests are held, their scores have increased. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of discovery learning models can complete student learning outcomes.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Subjek ujicoba adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA sebanyak 30 siswa pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Pada saat pretes siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata 35,70 dan persentase ketuntasan 23,70%. Setelah diadakan postes nilai rata-rata 77,6 dan persentase ketuntasan 78,80%. Perbedaan nilai pretes dan postes disebabkan karena pada saat pretes siswa menjawab soal sesuai dengan pengetahuan yang mereka miliki saja padahal materi yang diujikan belum pernah mereka dapatkan sebelumnya. Setelah diadakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Disovery Learning dan diadakan postes, nilai yang mereka peroleh mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning dapat dipergunakan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
