Review Process Policy
Manuscript Submission
The corresponding author submits the manuscript through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS). The existing journal policy also mentions temporary acceptance of manuscripts by email.
Editorial Office Assessment
The editorial office checks alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, structure and formatting against the Author Guidelines, and baseline academic and methodological quality. Manuscripts passing this check undergo Turnitin screening before external review.
Editor-in-Chief Appraisal
The Editor-in-Chief considers relevance, originality, scholarly interest and significance. Manuscripts that do not meet editorial requirements may be rejected without external review.
Reviewer Invitation
The handling editor invites appropriately qualified reviewers based on subject expertise, related research interests, independence and absence of conflicts of interest.
Reviewer Acceptance
Invited reviewers assess their expertise, availability and possible conflicts of interest, then accept or decline the invitation.
Independent Peer Review
At least two reviewers evaluate the anonymized manuscript. They assess its scholarly merit and provide reasoned recommendations for acceptance, rejection, or major/minor revision.
Editorial Evaluation
The Editor-in-Chief and handling editor consider reviewers’ comments and recommendations. Where evaluations differ substantially, the editor may obtain an additional independent opinion.
Decision Notification
The editorial decision and anonymized reviewer comments are communicated to the corresponding author, who is asked to address the required corrections and provide a revised manuscript when applicable.
Revision, Final Decision and Publication
Revised work may be returned to reviewers; minor revisions may be verified by the handling editor. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and online publication. A revision request does not itself constitute acceptance.
