Manuscript Type
Overview
The journal publishes scholarly articles relevant to education. All manuscripts must fit the journal's aims and scope, make a clear academic contribution, meet its author guidelines, and undergo the journal's editorial assessment and peer-review process.
Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles present original investigations, with a clearly formulated research problem, objectives, methods, findings, and contributions to scholarship or practice in the journal's field.
Recommended manuscript organization
- Title, author information, abstract, and keywords
- Introduction, including previous research, research gap, and objectives
- Methods, with sufficient detail for evaluation or replication
- Results and Discussion, including implications and limitations
- Conclusion, acknowledgments where applicable, and references
Systematic Review Articles
Published issues also contain systematic review articles that critically synthesize existing studies through a transparent and reproducible search, selection, appraisal, and synthesis process.
For a systematic review submission, authors should describe the review question, databases and search strategy, eligibility criteria, screening process, synthesis approach, main findings, limitations, and contribution to the field. Applicable reporting guidelines, such as PRISMA, may assist authors in transparently describing their review methods.
Editorial confirmation: This category is evidenced by published articles, but the journal's public Author Guidelines do not currently establish a comprehensive, separate list of permitted review-article types. Prospective authors should confirm the current submission category with the editorial office before submitting.
General Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts should be relevant to Islamic education management or educational administration.
- Articles are normally published in English; British English is the default style stated in the journal's guidelines.
- The journal's guidance indicates approximately 5,000–7,000 words for manuscripts.
- Provide an English abstract of no more than 250 words and 3–5 keywords.
- Follow the journal's current template, referencing style, figure/table instructions, and submission requirements.
- Ensure original writing, appropriate attribution, ethical compliance, and accurate authorship declarations.
Editorial Screening and Peer Review
The editorial office checks the manuscript's relevance, structure, and basic quality. Manuscripts passing initial assessment are checked for plagiarism before peer review. The journal describes a double-blind process involving two reviewers. The editor makes the publication decision after considering reviewer recommendations and any required revisions.
A submission or revision does not guarantee acceptance. Article-type eligibility and suitability remain subject to the editorial team's decision.
