This study focuses on the importance of matching soil conditions for the kinds of crops planted, where soil pH and nutrients are key factors. Many farmers cannot access adequate information about their soil conditions, so planting is often suboptimal. Through this system, farmers can easily access recommendations for crop types that are suitable for their soil conditions, generated from analysis of soil pH and fertility data.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/4975 Microcontroller Based Soil Fertility and PH Meter Design 2024-08-12T12:26:04+00:00 M. The research methods used include designing hardware and software that can detect and display CO2 levels in real-time. This tool is designed by utilizing the MQ-135 sensor connected to the Arduino microcontroller, equipped with an LCD screen to display the measurement results. Testing was carried out to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the tool in measuring CO2 levels. In addition, this tool is also designed to provide notification if CO2 levels exceed the specified safe limit. The results of the study showed that the designed tool successfully detected CO2 levels well and provided accurate readings. The notifications provided by the tool also functioned effectively, providing early warning to residents when CO2 levels increased. The results of the tool test showed that this sensor tool can be an effective solution for monitoring indoor air quality and helping to maintain the health of residents. Further implementation and testing in various environmental conditions are recommended to improve the performance and reliability of this tool. Thus, this sensor device can provide greater benefits in maintaining air quality and health in the household environment.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/5050 Digital Marketing System for Jombang's Cultural Diversity and Tourism Based on a Website 2024-08-30T03:02:38+00:00 Rizky Dwi Saputra jancokcrew2002@gmail.com Siti Sufaidah idasufaidah@unwaha.ac.id
Jombang Regency, East Java, has significant potential in the tourism and cultural sectors; however, the promotion and marketing of tourist destinations in this area remain limited. This Final Project report discusses the development of a website-based digital marketing system designed to enhance exposure and access to information about various tourist and cultural destinations in Jombang Regency. The system is equipped with features such as comments, ratings, and location maps, which facilitate users in discovering and exploring the available destinations. The objective of this research is to implement an effective digital marketing strategy to increase the number of tourists visiting Jombang Regency. The system, developed using PHP and MySQL, provides accurate and engaging information about natural, religious, popular, and historical tourist destinations in Jombang. The research findings indicate that the implementation of this system can enhance the visibility of tourist destinations in Jombang and significantly contribute to local economic growth. Through integrated and sustainable digital marketing, it is hoped that Jombang Regency can become one of Indonesia's leading tourist destinations, widely recognized both nationally and internationally.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/5051 Webite-Based Student Enrollment System at MTs Al Anwar Perak Jombang 2024-08-31T09:39:42+00:00 Ahmad Insani Asadullah anomali313@gmail.com Munawarah Munawarah munawarah@unwaha.ac.id
Each year, MTs Al Anwar faces two lessons learned from managing the student admission process (PPDB). This manual process traditionally applied raises many problems like Time (Inefficiency in times management), Errors and Difficulties to follow up enrollments. This research focuses on the development of a web-based student admission information system to solve these problems. The research method that authors apply is the system development method with Waterfall model such as analysis, design, implementation testing maintenance. The System Developed with PHP and MySQL system has been developed by the programming language. The system offers a number of features such as registration, vetting and data collection (student information), monitoring & evaluation. In this study, the sample is some of the registration staff at MTs Al Anwar in Jombang City and also parents who are enrolling their children. The findings of this study showed a new implementation web-based PPDB Information System that is increasing efficiency and the accuracy on New Student Admission Process at MTs Al Anwar. After being currently used by users (PPDB committee and prospective students/parents), the response they gave was good because of its user friendly features as well transparency provided. This system is a great addition not only providing positive values for both prospective students and their family members or legal guardians, but also it improves KTSP at MTs Al Anwar.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/5057 Management Of Student Hotspot Networks Through The Integration Of Academic Information Systems 2024-09-02T04:10:04+00:00 Muhammad Iqbal iqbalarskid.123@gmail.com Tholib Hariono hariono@unwaha.ac.id
In the digital era, fast, stable, and easily accessible internet has become an essential need, particularly in academic settings. Students require reliable connectivity to support teaching and learning activities, research, and access to academic information. However, managing hotspot networks on campus often faces challenges such as user authentication, bandwidth management, monitoring, and security. To address these issues, integrating hotspot network management with Academic Information Systems (AIS) presents a potential solution. This integration allows the hotspot network system to utilize academic data for authentication and authorization, enhancing efficiency, security, and ease of access. Case studies at several universities have shown significant improvements in operational efficiency and user satisfaction following the implementation of this integration. This research aims to develop a hotspot network management system integrated with AIS to support a more modern and integrated educational ecosystem and enhance the quality of internet access services on campus.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/5085 Implementation of Apriori and Fp-Growth Algorithms In Forming Association Patterns Based On Unwaha Cooperative Sales Transactions 2024-09-07T10:59:45+00:00 Dhita Cahyaningtyas cahyaningtyasdhita@gmail.com Achmad Agus Athok Miftachuddin agusathok@unwaha.ac.id
This study implements the Apriori and FP-Growth algorithms to identify association rules in sales transaction data from the UNWAHA Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Both algorithms successfully discovered product relationships, with similarities in rules for items like MAKARONI ASEP, KRUPUK PAK JONO, and KRUPUK 500. The FP-Growth algorithm, implemented using RapidMiner, outperformed Apriori in processing speed by 11 seconds and demonstrated higher accuracy in rule generation. Optimal results were achieved with minimum support and confidence values of 0.3 and 0.9 for Apriori (generating 5 rules), and 0.52 and 0.9 for FP-Growth (generating 6 rules). These settings balanced between generating too many rules, which could complicate interpretation, and too few, which might miss important patterns. Based on the analysis, strategic recommendations for the cooperative include implementing product bundling and discounts for frequently co-purchased items nearing expiration, optimizing product placement by grouping commonly associated items (e.g., MAKARONI ASEP, KRUPUK PAK JONO, KRUPUK 500, SOSIS SO NICE, and YUPI ALL VARIAN 5G) in easily accessible locations, and increasing stock for high-demand products like LE MINERALE. This research demonstrates the practical application of association rule mining in retail, offering data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies and inventory management for the UNWAHA Cooperative.
2024-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology
