However, manual attendance methods that are still widely used, such as recording in books, have various disadvantages such as prone to recording errors, data manipulation (absenteeism), and making the attendance recapitulation process difficult. This research aims to develop an automatic attendance system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology integrated with the Internet of Things ( IoT ). This system is designed so that the attendance recording process can be carried out automatically, in real-time, and directly stored in a web-based database. The system development method uses a prototyping approach, with stages of communication, quick planning, quick design, construction, and feedback from users. The hardware used includes ESP32, MFRC-522 RFID module, 16x2 LCD, buzzer, and push button. While the software is built using PHP Native, MySQL, and Arduino IDE. The system has three main modes, namely Data Add Mode, Opt-In Mode, and Opt-Out Mode. Attendance data will be sent directly to the server and can be accessed by teachers or officers through the web dashboard. The test results using the black box method show that the system is running according to the expected function. The implementation of this system has been proven to improve the efficiency and accuracy of recording student attendance, as well as reduce the administrative burden on the school. However, manual inventory recording often leads to data inaccuracies, difficulties in tracking, and consumes a significant amount of time and effort. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a mobile application based on Android to assist the inventory management process of school facilities more efficiently and accurately by utilizing QR Code technology. The application is developed using Java/Kotlin programming language and Android Studio framework, with SQLite used for local data storage and PHP-MySQL for data synchronization to the server when connected to the internet. The main features include inventory data input, QR Code generation and printing, QR Code scanning for item tracking, item condition updates, and damaged or repair-needed item reporting. The system is also equipped with user authentication to ensure that only administrators have access to the data. The testing results show that the application runs well on Android devices and is capable of managing inventory data more quickly and accurately compared to manual methods. The integration of QR Codes facilitates instant item identification through scanning, thereby accelerating the recording and checking processes. Thus, this application is expected to be a practical and efficient solution for inventory management in school environments.
2026-02-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/6190 Web Based Sales Information System for Crackers Products Using Laravel Framework 2025-08-30T17:28:19+00:00 Muhammad Firosulhaq firosulhaq8@gmail.com Agus Athok Miftahuddin athokmiftahuddin@unwaha.ac.id
Home Industry Glagahan, which produces traditional kerupuk (crackers), faces several challenges in managing sales, stock recording, and product distribution, as these processes were previously carried out manually, leading to errors in record-keeping, loss of transaction data, and difficulties in generating structured sales reports. To address these issues, this study developed a Web-Based Sales Information System for Kerupuk Products using the Laravel framework supported by a modular e-commerce package, applying the Waterfall development method that includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation stages. The system provides features such as an online product catalog, automated transaction recording, integrated stock management, and sales reports based on specific periods, while system functionality was tested using the Black-box Testing method to ensure that it meets user requirements. The results show that the system successfully assists the business owner in managing sales and stock data more effectively compared to the previous manual method, although limitations remain, such as the lack of fully implemented online payment integration and a relatively simple user interface. In the future, this system can be further enhanced by integrating courier services, digital payment methods, and a more flexible user interface to support wider market expansion.
2026-02-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 NEWTON: Networking and Information Technology https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/newton/article/view/6241 Design And Implementation of a Short Message Delivery System Using LoRa Technology 2025-09-08T02:53:15+00:00 Sujono Sujono sujono@unwaha.ac.id Dwi Agung Sunaryo sujono@unwaha.ac.id Moh.
