This study aims to describe and explain the implementation of school rules in shaping the disciplinary character of tenth-grade students at SMK Satria Bhakti Nganjuk, as well as to analyze the outcomes of its implementation on changes in student behavior. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The data analysis technique used in this study follows the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were analyzed comprehensively and supported with triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of school rules that are educative, participatory, and model-based is effective in fostering students’ disciplinary awareness through value habituation, guidance, and moral reflection. Student discipline improved particularly in the aspects of punctuality, wearing uniforms in accordance with regulations, and complying with school policies. This study emphasizes that school rules have the potential to serve as an effective form of character education for developing student discipline when managed consistently and integrated into the school culture.
Jatmiko JatmikoMuhamad HanifIbadullah Malawi

The background of this research stems from the need for more interactive and collaborative learning methods to address the challenges of conventional Aswaja instruction, which tends to be textual and lacks student engagement. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The research subjects consisted of 32 tenth-grade students at MA Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, divided into an experimental group (Jigsaw method) and a control group (conventional lecture method). Data were collected using pretest-posttest instruments and a Jigsaw implementation questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed a significant difference in conceptual skill between students taught using the Jigsaw method and those taught with conventional methods, with a significance value of 0,025 (< 0,05) based on the independent sample t-test. Additionally, a positive relationship was found between the implementation of the Jigsaw method and students’ conceptual abil, as indicated by a Pearson correlation significance of 0,032 and a correlation coefficient of 0,554 (moderate category). It is concluded that the cooperative learning model using the Jigsaw technique is effective in enhancing students’ conceptual skill.
Dion Rizki PratamaHilyah AshoumiLintang Ramadhani

https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/application/article/view/6601

This study aims to analyze the relationship between student learning activities and cognitive learning outcomes through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to ecosystem material. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population was all 10th-grade students of Mojoagung State Senior High School, Jombang, with a sample of 36 10th-grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data on student learning activities were obtained through observation sheets, while cognitive learning outcomes were measured using a learning achievement test. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation test using SPSS version 26 software. This is because the learning activity data is ordinal in scale. The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between student learning activities and cognitive learning outcomes with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.943 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which is in the very strong relationship category. This finding indicates that the higher the student learning activities in problem-based learning, the higher the cognitive learning outcomes achieved. The implications of this study confirm that the application of PBL which emphasizes active student involvement plays an important role in improving conceptual understanding, especially in ecosystem material which is complex and contextual.
Fatikhatun Nikmatus SholihahSiti RahayuMuhammad Zainal Dwi Wahyudi

https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/application/article/view/6890

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious activities, analyze their contribution to strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering these values at Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School. The subjects of this study consisted of 8 students and 3 teachers (ustadz/ustadzah) who were directly involved in the boarding school’s religious activities. Purposive sampling was used to select participants based on criteria of active student participation in religious activities and teachers supervising these activities. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that religious activities at the boarding school are carried out in a structured manner through daily, weekly, and seasonal activities, such as congregational prayers, Quran recitation, study of classical Islamic texts, istighotsah, tahlil, manaqib, maulid celebrations, and social activities such as communal work. These activities contribute to strengthening students’ religiosity, cooperation, independence, discipline, tolerance, and responsibility, which align with the six dimensions of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Supporting factors include the exemplary role of the kyai and teachers, the boarding school’s religious culture, and an integrated educational system. In contrast, inhibiting factors include differences in students’ understanding of Pancasila values and a densely packed activity schedule.
Muhammad KhizbullahMuhamad Khoirur RoziqinChusnul Chotimah

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on improving students’ critical thinking skills in learning Systems of Linear Inequalities in Two Variables. The study is motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems related to this topic, which requires analytical reasoning and logical conclusion drawing. The PjBL model is assumed to provide meaningful learning experiences by actively involving students in problem-solving activities, both individually and collaboratively. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was employed in this study. The research subjects were 36 students of class X-1 at SMAN Mojoagung. Data were collected using a critical thinking skills test administered before and after the implementation of the PjBL model. Data analysis included a normality test using the Shapiro–Wilk method and a paired sample t-test to determine the significance of differences between pretest and posttest scores. The results indicate that the application of the PjBL model significantly improved students’ critical thinking skills. The mean pretest score of 42.77 increased to 79.72 in the posttest. The normality test showed significance values of 0.053 for the pretest and 0.188 for the posttest, indicating that the data were normally distributed. Furthermore, the paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. These findings demonstrate that Project Based Learning is effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills in learning systems of linear inequalities in two variables.
Khusnul KhotimahAlex Haris Fauzi
