The activity was carried out at a small printing business, Maleo Printing, located in Ambon City, which still manages its cash disbursement transactions informally. The purpose of this project is to analyze the existing procedures and develop system documentation in the form of Data Flow Diagrams and Flowcharts to visualize the flow of information and operational procedures. Through a service learning approach, students conducted field observations, interviews, data analysis, and system modeling based on the business’s needs. The outcomes include a context diagram, level 0 and level 1 DFDs, as well as structured flowcharts that depict the processes of ordering, payment, and recording of cash outflows systematically. These designs help business owners understand their workflows, improve documentation, and serve as a preliminary reference for developing a simple computer-based information system. This experience also enriched students’ understanding of the real-world application of accounting information system theory. Overall, the project demonstrates that the development of DFDs and Flowcharts offers a practical solution for small businesses in building a more structured and efficient recording system.
Virgin Airin Reawaruw Jaleha Tuaputty Sari Rahmadani Bahtiar Faradila Putri Aprilia Andini Julianti Ana Masye Tuhumury Angelica Eklesia Theris Gabriel Rehatta Merlyn Mustamu Misyel Baker Copyright (c) 2025 Virgin Airin Reawaruw, Jaleha Tuaputty, Sari Rahmadani Bahtiar, Faradila Putri Aprilia, Andini Julianti, Ana Masye Tuhumury, Angelica Eklesia Theris, Gabriel Rehatta, Merlyn Mustamu, Misyel Baker http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 6 2 46 53 10.32764/abdimasekon.v6i2.5944 Pendampingan Penerapan Akuntansi Syariah pada Pelaku Usaha Mikro https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/abdimas_ekon/article/view/5984
MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a role as one of the main drivers of the Indonesian economy, including in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. Based on the latest data, there are around 139,386 MSMEs in Tulungagung, but only a small number have financial report recording in an orderly manner and in accordance with sharia principles. In fact, good financial records not only help business actors in separating business and personal finances, but also make it easier to calculate profits, as well as business zakat obligations if they have met the nisab. This study aims to describe the implementation of community service activities in the form of sharia accounting assistance to business actors in Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung. The method used is a participatory method with an observation, interview, and direct mentoring approach. The team consisted of four students who conducted a needs assessment, evaluated the conditions of initial financial records, provided simple training related to cash, assets, liabilities, and capital recording, and introduced the basic principles of sharia accounting, including business zakat obligations. The results of the activity showed that the business actors who were accompanied were able to understand the importance of simple financial records, began to separate business and personal finances, and were interested in learning more about the calculation of business zakat. In addition, there has been an increase in the awareness of business actors regarding the value of blessings in sharia-compliant financial management. In conclusion, this mentoring activity has succeeded in improving the understanding and basic skills of business actors related to sharia-based financial recording. In the future, similar activities need to be carried out on an ongoing basis with a more in-depth scope of material, including the use of sharia-based digital recording applications.
Siti Lailatur Rohmah Dadang Heru Jatmiko Elok Faiqoh Yoga Ari Pratama Binti Nur Asiyah Copyright (c) 2025 Siti Lailatur Rohmah, Dadang Heru Jatmiko, Elok Faiqoh, Yoga Ari Pratama, Binti Nur Asiyah http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 6 2 54 61 10.32764/abdimasekon.v6i2.5984 Pendayagunaan Ekonomi Umat Melalui Workshop Optimalisasi Pengumpulan dan Penyaluran Zakat https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/abdimas_ekon/article/view/5987
Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Kebumen is the number 1 poorest district in Central Java. In fact, Islamic banks already provide almost all the services available at conventional banks. To address this, community service was conducted in the form of face-to-face outreach explaining the various products, services, and benefits of Islamic banking. This activity was carried out at the women's study group of the Al-Amanah Jami Mosque in RW 03 Pamulang Barat, South Tangerang, Banten, with the aim of expanding understanding and interest in Islamic banking products and services. The methods used included planning, implementing outreach discussing the characteristics, products, and benefits of Islamic banking, as well as monitoring and evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the activity. The results of the outreach showed an increase in participant awareness regarding the operational principles of Islamic banks that are free from usury, the profit-sharing system, Sharia-compliant fund management, and the convenience of digital banking services offered by Islamic banks..

Muhammad Khaerul Muttaqien Tajudin Mas’ud M. However, the low literacy level of MSME actors regarding halal certification regulations and procedures is a constraint in increasing competitiveness in the global market. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to provide comprehensive education and guidance on halal product certification for mentored MSMEs in several districts/cities in East Java, so that they are able to obtain halal certification and expand market access.

This community service method uses the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, which begins with discovering the potential of MSMEs, dreaming of a vision for halal competitiveness, designing training and mentoring programs, and delivering real actions in the certification process. The activities were carried out thru focus group discussions, socialization and technical training, assistance in filling out halal certification documents on the BPJPH system, and field verification assistance.

The service results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of halal certification procedures from 56% to 92% (based on pre-test and post-test results), as well as the success of 70% of the participating MSMEs in obtaining a Halal Certificate (SH) from BPJPH. This activity not only accelerated the halal certification process but also increased consumer confidence and expanded marketing networks. This PKM recommends program sustainability thru the establishment of university-based Halal Centers to continuously support MSMEs.

Keywords: Education, and Mentoring, Halal Certification, MSMEs
Qoidul Khoir Siti Maimunah Holilah Holilah Copyright (c) 2025 Qoidul Khoir, Siti Maimunah, Holilah http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 6 2 71 76 10.32764/abdimasekon.v6i2.6104 Pelatihan Pemasaran Budi Daya Jamur Tiram Menuju Pasar Modern dengan Artificial Intelligence (AI) https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/abdimas_ekon/article/view/6107
Community service activities carried out in the Ogan Ilir region of South Sumatra aimed to improve the literacy and capacity of business actors, both owners and those involved in oyster mushroom cultivation, in the field of technology-based marketing. These activities were carried out in three integrated sessions during the training. The first session provided an understanding of the basic concepts of oyster mushroom marketing, including an explanation of the differences between traditional and modern markets, as well as an overview of product development strategies aligned with the goal of entering modern markets. The second session focuses on strengthening brand identity and product branding, as well as enhancing the use of e-commerce as an effective distribution tool to reach consumers. The final session involves practical exercises and simulations in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for marketing activities. As a follow-up to the community service activities, in addition to direct implementation, the community service team continues to provide a platform for partners to consult and discuss the distribution of oyster mushrooms, ensuring they are not only utilized by consumers in traditional markets but also distributed in modern markets. Through this initiative, it is hoped that business operators and related parties will be able to design innovative, adaptive, and competitive marketing strategies to enhance the competitiveness of oyster mushroom products in both the national and global markets.
Akhmad Afandi Anggreany Hustia Desy Rahmawati Copyright (c) 2025 Akhmad Afandi, Anggreany Hustia, Desy Rahmawati http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 6 2 77 82 10.32764/abdimasekon.v6i2.6107 Inovasi Singkong SnacKarang untuk Penguatan UMKM dan Ekonomi Desa Petahunan https://ejournal.unwaha.ac.id/index.php/abdimas_ekon/article/view/6114
Cassava is a tuber crop that can easily be found in community land, especially in rural areas. Cafe Sawah is a village asset managed by a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) with significant potential to support nature-based tourism but is hampered by limited digital literacy and suboptimal promotional strategies. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method was used, encompassing observation, branding strategy design, digital content creation assistance, promotional implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The mentoring results demonstrate improved management skills in photography, videography, content editing, and social media management. The branding implementation resulted in a consistent visual identity, an increase in the number of Instagram followers from 0 to 360 with a 7.8% engagement rate, and an increase in customer visits. These findings confirm that the synergy between human resource capacity building and digital promotional efforts can strengthen brand image, increase competitiveness, and provide sustainable economic benefits for the village community. This program is expected to become a model for developing other village assets utilizing digital technology and branding strategies.
Fawaid Fawaid Saini Saini Muhammad Ali Zainur Ridho Dwi Rafelika Angger Adinata Riksen Riksen Muhammad Alfa Hasim Muhammad Naufal Febriansyah Ahmad Danial Sahwan Mohammad Ali Imron Ikmalul Khoir M.
