Education is something that cannot be separated from human life. With a good education will certainly create a good generation as well. In its implementation, education certainly encounters various problems, both formal and non-formal education. Non-formal education such as the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) is a level of education that focuses on learning the Qur'an. The learning or material provided will affect the development of students' knowledge. However, giving the right material is not an easy thing. This is due to the lack of human resources (teachers). In addition, other problems faced such as lack of motivational support from the guardians of students, inconsistent application of the method, and the lack of material for recitation and makharijul letters. This study aims to find out how important it is to provide materials or methods as well as motivational support from the guardians of students to support the ability of students to learn and apply the values ​​contained in the Qur'an properly. This study uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method by engaging and directly involved in teaching and learning activities at TPQ. Guidance related to the provision of appropriate materials and methods, which are tailored to the existing problems to students. As well as guidance for educators is carried out by assisting teaching and learning activities so that learning is more varied and able to improve the reading of the students well. Furthermore, opening a gathering forum with the guardians of students with the intention of socializing the urgency of TPQ non-formal education
