Islamic Boarding School Education System Development in Improving Santri Professionalism
Abstract
This research aims: to re-examine and develop the education system at the Al Hamidiyyah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. So that the quality of professional students can be achieved in all fields that are occupied after graduating from the cottage. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. The data analyzed is data from the main source of this research, namely the caregivers and the person in charge of boarding school education, besides the data analyzed is data in the form of writing, such as a brief history of the Al Hamidiyyah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, and other documents related to the research. The results were analyzed using the Presistant technique (observational persistence) and Triangulation (combining various data collection techniques). The results of the study stated that the Al Hamidiyyah Islamic Boarding School had applied the right important points to produce professional students. However, even though many of the important points have been accomplished. Regular meetings are held to evaluate deficiencies and redevelop the necessary systems. This form of development of the boarding school education system involves all components, both students, educators, and cottage caregivers.
